No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hi everyone!
Skincare is a difficult thing to blog about as everyone has different skin and wants different results from their skincare. Some skincare is pricey and not worth it, some are little gems and come cheap as chips. However today I want to talk about an alternative to the holy grail that is the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser.

The No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser has the same premise behind it: rub on, rub off with the muslin cloth that has been in warm water. The texture of the cream is quite thick and there is a slight fragrance to it, think more baby product smell rather than perfumed. I like the packaging too as you can see exactly how much you have left.

When I used this I took my makeup off first then used eye make up remover simply because I can't stand the cloth having massive black marks over it. After using it my skin felt soft and fresh - always a bonus. After a week of using it I think my skin looked brighter, and it felt a lot better to the touch!

I definately would recommend this product, a definate 9/10. It is not the cheapest product out there at £9.95 but I think its worth every penny.

Percy & Reed Dry Conditioner

I don't know about you ladies but I know all about dry shampoo, batiste being what recently has become a product many of my friends use religiously (Emma @ Ems designs has done a excellent review of it here - click and read!) but something that I was new to the concept of was dry conditioner. I managed to procure a sample of this from Whats In My Handbag? and want to share it with you all today!

It came packaged so nicely, with my name and everything :D Anyway.. it claims to 'give your hair healthy softness and shine without the h20' and to 'add glossy shine to even very dry hair'. Just so happens I have very thick curly hair that is very dry at the ends! Fancy that! It says spray 10 cm away working on the dry areas then brushing through.. this is the result:
Left - Hair before, Right- Hair after.

Don't know about you but I consider this a success! It controlled the frizz, it added shine to the dull, lifeless ends of my hair and made it feel silky smooth! And no oilyness. Unlike the dry shampoo this does not give volume, something I clearly do not need. However I need this product. So will I buy it? YES! Score? 8/10.. simply because it is £12.00 here are ASOS. Curses to the expensive products that work!

Have you tried Dry Conditioner? Know of alternatives?

NOTD Accessorize Emerald City

Hi everyone! The other day I really wanted Barry Ms new turquoise glitter. And when i say really wanted I mean I had my heart set on it. I live in a city and NOT ONE superdrug or boots had this in stock so I started to look at other brands...
Viola! Emerald City. Named wrong I feel as it is definately turquoise. The picture shows three coats for full coverage. Mainly small glitter and some bigger chunks. Sparkles so much. This colour is great for jazzing up a boring outfit! So if you can't find the Barry M one go for this, its pretty much a dupe!
£3.45 at Superdrug and Accessorize

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

Hola mis amigos!
Today I want to write about another new lip product, compared by many to the Clinique Chubby Sticks... yes that is right, I'm talking about Revlons new Lip Balm Stains.

I bought mine in 001 Honey, a soft pink shade to give a natural lips but better effect:

I love them. They feel like a lip balm (not oily like Vaseline) and do moisturise the lip whilst giving a little colour. They also reflect light so it could be more of a gloss without any stickiness (no hair stuck to lip happening here!!). When first applied it did tingle a bit like a plumping lip gloss and there is a very slight minty smell, nothing to overpowering to put you off. Wear time (I found) was about 2 hours, without eating!
Overall I love them and may have to buy another!

They are on introductory offer of £5.99 in Boots and Superdrug, so grab one quick!
Anyone else bought one yet?

Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick shade 1 & 19

Every once in a while there is a product that you consider buying but don't, then everytime you see it you do the same until you take the plunge. My product is the Rimmel Kate Lasting finish lipsticks. I've wanted a 'proper' bright red lip for ages, but was scared that it wouldn't suit, but whilst in Boots saw that the newer spring collection is out bringing new shades, and as there was a deal on I thought I'd take the plunge:
I chose shade '1', the classic red shade from the older collection and shade '19' from the newer collection, a dark musty pink shade. The packaging I think is sleek, semi matte black with either a red or pink signature depending on the collection you bought it from. I like it, no dirt has yet to cling to them!
The lipstick is very pigmented and wears about 2-3 hours without drinking and eating, pretty average for a lipstick, and it is not too drying either.
One problem is the smell. Yes, its fragranced. When you first apply it you can smell it quite badly, but it does go away sharpish so if you really dislike fragranced lipsticks these aren't for you!
Also with the shade '1' I experienced a lot of bleeding of the lip, nothing a lip liner can't sort!

Overall i would recommend these as for the price the pigmentation is fantastic and the packaging sleek. Plus they are £5.49 each or two for £7 at Boots.

NOTD - Barry M Pink Silver Glitter 337

Hi everyone, today my NOTD is the new Barry M 'Pink Silver glitter', part of their new collection which can be bought in stores now.

The colour is lovely! A subtle light pink and silver glitter which is subtle in the shade but when natural light hits it, wow it shines. Its almost metallic!
In the pictures I'm wearing 3 coats, but I think two would suffice. I'm going to try this as a top coat over a pastel blue as one coat is quite sheer, pictures of that to come!
Wearing time you are looking at a few days, I've had this on 2 days and have only experienced minor tipwear but I account this to working with my hands all day. So yes, I recommend fully and at £2.99, a bargain.
